2nd Annual Garden Party & Plant Swap
The West Meadowbrook Neighborhood Association will be holding its annual Garden Party and Plant Swap on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. The purpose of this event is to share gardening information with Eastside residents and encourage home gardening in our neighborhood.
There will be native plant giveaways, courtesy of Nativo Gardens, a bilingual children’s planting activity called “Grow to Eat & Eat to Grow,” nature craft activities, and a joint program with the Reby Cary Youth Library with Garden-themed story times and tours of the library, including their heirloom seed library.
Texas Health, one of our gold sponsors, will provide information on their Double-Up Food Bucks program that helps people purchase fresh produce. The Fort Worth Water Department will educate attendees on water-wise gardening strategies, and the Easyside Art Collective will do a leaf art activity for children. The Eastside Community Garden will be giving away plants. The Eastside 4-H club will also have a table to talk about their programs.
